Water Safety New Zealand

Water Skills for Life is linked into the national education curriculum and gives primary school children the skills and knowledge they need to assess risk and make smart decisions when they’re in, on and around water. School teachers can easily teach Water Skills for Life and can access free professional development through Swimming New Zealand educators or Sport Northland (for schools in Northland). This enables school teachers with a school pool, to easily teach their students life saving water skills and competencies.
