Potentially contaminated water is now mixing with floodwater downstream from Wilkins Road outside Tinwald and wastewater from the Ashburton wastewater treatment system near Wilkins Road may be flowing into Carters Creek, which feeds into Lake Hood. Please avoid all floodwater and assume that it is contaminated.
